Alternative cinema is the name given for special events being shown at screens which are equipped with new technology like 3D. This enables broadcast of shows as diverse as music concerts, sports events and opera and for audiences, it means the chance to see great events – sometimes one-offs – up close and personal without having to travel long distances. All for the price of a cinema ticket.
